The first of the seasonal short stories 'Lost Angels' is now available on Amazon as an e-book.
A post-Christmas gathering in the magnificent Washburn Estate gardens is just the relaxation the shop owners of Thornbury need after the Christmas rush, but it could turn into a tragedy. With a little angelic help Nettie manages to avert history from repeating.
During the Christmas decoration intervention at the beginning of the story, Bob came into Nettie's Knit shop with a new recipe - Christmas Shortbread.
Nettie is getting the recipe to try for herself and it will share it on this website in the coming week - the first week of January 2020.
Seasons greetings and a Happy and productive 2020 to you.
Having time off work during the Christmas season should mean spending time with family and friends, but when they are all out of the country, what else is there to do but write. As a reader I loving having short stories and novellas that bridge gaps from one book to the next in a series, so we have a mystery short story for Nettie's first Christmas season in Thornbury. We meet some more members of the community that will feature in upcoming books. I hope you enjoy it - available as an ebook on Amazon from 1 January 2020.
When the book proof arrived, I realised two things; one, there were a lot of words to proof read again and two, the work hasn't finished. Now, the soft cover book is nearly ready to go to be available through Amazon, and the order for the NZ prints have been put in. We expect the books to be on the shelves by Friday this week at Writers Plot Bookshop (as well as in their online shop).
I'm working on a Christmas story for Nettie, where we get to meet more of the people in Thornbury. The aim is to have it ready as an e-book before the new year ...
