About
A now retired (from April 2022) self employed IT contractor who thankfully, no longer works in the corporate environment. Rediscovering her love for writing and crafty things CB Landy has taken to retirement like a duck to water.
With time and less pressure to do (what felt like) a hundred things a day, her health is improving, after the last two years of serious issues, and her outlook on life is improving each day. It's all about attitude.
With other Upper Hutt authors, CB started a not-for-profit small independent bookshop in Upper Hutt that specialises in books by NZ (Kiwi) authors from small and medium-sized publishers and overseas publishers.
Avid reader, passionate about great stories and storytelling. Her perfect day is to sit in the sun reading the latest mystery. Generally preferring actual books as they don't overheat when lying in the sun, but ebooks are great when travelling.
It has taken six years to get to this stage, and still enjoys immersing herself into the life and drama of Thornbury.
So far, we have three murder mysteries that befall Nettie and her friends, with several more to come. Dispersed with novella size feel-good mysteries that insert the reader into small-town life and develop the characters that have little to do in solving murder mysteries.
Supported by two black and white cats, the bees on B deck, and a wonderful husband; CB Landy has been attending writing groups over the last ten years and has been working with wonderful people as she develops her voice as an author.
